Maxijet hangers and suction cup questions

I have looked in the past threads and could not find the answers for

1. I remember something said about how to hang a maxijet down low in your tank and keep it there. This is not the glue on magnet idea but sometype of hanger bought maybe at the dollar store

2. Where and what dollar stores carry the suction cups? I ahve been to 3 different type of dollar stores and have been unsuccessful so far.
 
I glued mine onto clear over the door wreath hangers. It has worked for me so far. I just cut off the bottom were it starts to turn up to hold the wreath
 
Garden Ridge and Hobby Lobby have wreath hangers, and some Dollar Stores.

I usually get the suction cups at Fish Paradise, I'm sure many LFS carry them, but you have to ask for them - any craft store might have the wrong size, but you can look.
 
Not to confuse the issue, but I took two of the part that's circled in the picture, super glue'd and zip strip'ed 'em to each other to lengthen 'em, and hang 'em over the edge of my overflow to get my MJ's lower in my tank...

The parts that you circled, I currently use but they will only fit over my overflow. The edge of my tank has a lip that the piece will not fit over, so I have to use the suction cups everywhere else. And to futher complicate, the suction cups will not keep the maxijets in place that have been mopdified. They just swing back and forth like they are on a trapezee.
