No glue, no cutting, no mess and virtually no money spent!

I found the clear plastic wreath hangers at Lowe's this weekend - $1.97 each. To hang the Maxijet, I zip tied the suction cup "frame" that comes with the Maxijet to the wreath hanger. I use the suction cups to stabilize the Maxijet on the hanger. Now my power heads are 7-8" lower in my tank with no fear of suction cup failure!

Picture posted...still need to take one of it in the tank...

Great idea. Let us know how it works out.

I think I'll get some to make a holder for my veggie clip. That way, I won't have to keep sticking my hand in the tank :D

Where's the pictures? I bought some but they are too darned long. I cut one but I'm afraid of the MJ slipping off since there is no longer a hook on the end.

GO ahead and cut it. I cut mine, and when the zip ties are tight, my MJ doesn't move even with me tugging on it.

The issue I have noticed it that the hangers are wider than the lip of my tank and now I have to find a way to secure them better so they do not move left and right.

Sorry - forgot to post the pics. Last week was CRAZY! I'll do it tonight, I promise... 8)

I posted the pic of how it was put together in the first post of the thread. I'm guessing that Marc wants pics of them in the tank? Ok...I'll work on that tonight

If you are worried about the MJ sliding up and down you can drill a hole in the center of the wreath hanger and run the zip tie through it instead of all the way around.

Pics of them in the tank are not coming out so well. I think that my camera battery may be low so it's on the charger right now. I haven't had any trouble with them slipping b/c the bottom part of the hanger is slightly wider.

Thanks for adding pictures Misty. They truly are worth 1000 words. :)
