Maxi Mini Anemone Eating my Target Mandarin :(

Thought I would share a pic of my Target Mandarin being eaten by my Maxi Mini Anemone. The sexy shrimp you see there has been at the Mandarin all you can eat buffet quite a bit today I poured a little fish food out for the homey ;)

LOVE THEM very colorful and these stay nice and small :) There is however a snail/hermit crab graveyard around the 3 that I have doh!
 
I have a maxi just like yours! I hope it doesn't eat my wrasse. She keeps getting close. I would love to have more. Any suggestions on where to find them?
 
Sorry to hear about your mandarin Mike. My large haddoni ate my hippo tang, so I know the feeling. I sold mine this weekend so hoping to not have any more mishaps. Hope yours leaves the other fishies alone...
 
Wow! I knew that they could eat fish but I didnt think a mini would! I considered buying a maxi mini carpet too because i love how they look and was going to get two sexy shrimp to dance on it but decided against it. I'm glad I did now. I have a mandrain too and it would be pretty sad to walk into my man cave to see that :(

Thanks, he did end up spitting the fish half eaten back out, so I fed the rest to my bigger sherman Nem. The Maxi do stay small less then 6" and never split unless you cut into them. They also don't walk around after the intial week or so. They are however a nem so they are very sticky to the touch. Overall the pro's outway the cons and they are one of my favorite creatures in my tank. I have 3 of them all side by side touching each other.
