Mated Pair Clowns - normal behavior vs fighting signs?

I have never had Clowns before until a couple days ago when I picked up a mated pair of GB Maroons, so am unfamiliar with the normal behavior that they should take toward each other.

The first 24 hours they were together they stayed in the same cave together and would basically just chill together and explore together.

All of today I noticed that 1) they have taken to different caves (although only about 5" apart) and 2) the female (about 2x the size of the male) keeps coming over to his cave and they do a slow twirl together (maybe 2 spins at most) and then the female goes back to her cave or the male swims casually away and then returns when the female goes back to hers. Very rarely do I see them side-by-side. No signs of her biting him or any fast action head-butts of any kind... if that is even something they would do anyway.

Keep in mind this is only in two days worth of watching their actions, so I am sure I am just being paranoid, but never hurts to ask. These are really cool fish, IMO, and don't want the little one getting hurt.

As for feeding, they both eat fine. But, the female comes out mid-water to eat while the male only eats what comes to him. Seems plenty, but he does not swim freely to find food.

Any advice? FYI, the tank is 180g. Female is about 4-5", male 2-3".

Cliff, that sounds normal. They're probably still getting used to the tank.

She may swim above him, and even bonk him a little, and he'll orient more vertically and do this little epileptic-looking twitch.

Thanks guys :)

They were sleeping in the same cave together last night which boosted my confidence in them as well.
