marc's ID page-

Just wanted to say thanks for providing a link to the page...i swear i have looked at that thing 1000 times over the last year.....anyhow, was looking for some baby snails like people are posting cuz i saw that mine were laying eggs on a powerhead in the new refugium.....well, instead of finding snails, i find several clear flatworms....so i am freaking out thinking about all the posts about runaway flatworms....go to bed...cant sleep......wake up this morning and check the id page and it looks like i maybe ok since they are not the red ones and are just the little clear ones....should i still nuke them to be on the safe side?

If it's the little clear ones, don't sweat it.. I've seen them eating film algae from the glass (looks like they ever their stomachs over it.)

ok thanks, i have a six line wrasse in the main tank that seems to eat anything and everything he fits in his mouth but was just worried about the flatworms in the refugium....they actually are pretty cool looking

Yup, pretty cool.. the way I look at it, anything that's not in plague proportions that doesn't hurt or displace something else can only be good. Diversity, diversity, diversity. :)
