Someone asked about Marco Rocks Sand the other day and since I just recently purchased 160 pounds of the stuff I thought I would post a little about it.
I ordered 160 lbs of Marco Rock Sand (Fine Grain) for $109 shipped from their website.
The sand was shipped in 4 40lb Flat Rate Priority Mail boxes from Florida. I ordered on Wednesday and Received it the following Monday.
I am posting some photos below of the sand including a Macro shot of it so you can get an idea of the grain size.

As you can see one of the boxes got a little beat up but the sand did not spill

Each box contained a Hefty Stretch Garbage Bag of Sand.

Here is a Macro Shot of the Fine Grain Sand I purchased. I photographed it next to a Quarter and on White Printing Paper so you can get a good idea of color and grain size. If you want Snow White Sand this is not the sand for you. It isn't brown by any means however. It actually reminded me of the Beach Sand in Cancun in color.
