Mandarin Buffet

Well my 1yr old mandarin is getting very skinny and I don't know why? I have a 20g Fuge on a 75g tank and this little guy is skin and bones. Today he looked almost dead and isn't swimming much, so I decided to throw him into paradise. Maybe he will eat and live or at least before he dies he will get to see what pod heaven looks like.

Have you been dosing phyto into your tank? I noticed mine fattened up after I started dosing a cup of phyto every other day.

Steve - Depends on what kinda phyto...

Hobbyist cultured, cup sounds about right...
DT's hyper-concentrated? Cap more like it...

I used hobbiest phyto. So, I was using a cup. My wife was shocked when she saw how fot both of the mandarins became. My pod population, which seemed to be dwindling, just exploded in the past month by feeding so much. I haven't fed for about a week now. I need to pick up some more phyto. Now that the population is back to normal, and holding, I won't dose as much.
