Magnesium

Anybody has any success getting their magnesium to the 1300ppm, I just went through my third bottle and it's still around 1100ppm, it doesnt seem like it wants to go any higher.
 
Magnesium is one of those elements that takes a lot to bring it up. Mine tested at 1290 a few days ago.
 
What are you adding?

It does take a lot to raise Mg. I have to add about 400 ml of ESV B-Ionic Magnesium to raise my levels. Mine stays around 1300-1350.
 
Yea, that's what I've been adding and it seems that we have the same size tank as well, I know I added more then that aleady, and it just doesnt want to go up, I guess I'l keep adding a few more bottles :roll: .
 
Rick ordered Magnesium in bulk a few months ago, and I just add some of that as I think about it.
 
It took mine a while to get up there as well....but as soon as it does, other parameters are easier to keep in line as well..... 8)

I am finding that monthly testing is now enough to keep an eye on it...
