LTA is not looking good?? Should I take it our or is there ?

Hey guys I am new to the hobby my tank has been up and running for nearly 6 months. I have 2 LTA's and today one of them is shriveled. Yesterday it was wide open looking beautiful, my Clarke Clown was rolling around like always and this morning it looks dead. Its tentacles are shriveled and green and there is a glob of gunk kinda hanging on to its underside. I can still see the body moving a little but its not opening up and the lights have been on for around 2 hours.

Should I take it out of the tank or is there still hope?

well I have seen minor changes in my water, I test it every other day with just the quick strips and then bring it in to my local fish store for full testing once a week. In the last 2 months my nitrates have gone from a 0 ppm to around a 10 ppm but the LTA in question was just introduced to the tank a little more than 3 weeks ago. My tank is a little more than 110 gallons (its a deep and tall tank) and I have 6 T-8 17 watt bulbs. I have a mixture of 10,000K and Actinic.I have about 150 lbs of live rock, So far most of my livestock have done well with the exception of a lavender mushroom that has been slowly fading away. I have a few Colt corals a green closed brain some Zoos and a few pin k tip candylactus ( i think thats how its spelled) other than that its a few standard fish i.e. clown, royal gramma, a damsel, coral banded shrimp, etc..
As far as filtration I have about 40 gallons worth of refugium and a protein skimmer...........well thats about all I can think to tell you right now so ........ any and all help is great

A picture wuld help.. might be able to tell if the mouth is gaping, or if the mesentery is being expelled.

you have 100 watts of light on a 100 gallon tank ? That is not enough, you need atleast 5 watts per gallon IMO to keep any anemone alive. Now to thrive you need more. I have near 10 watts per gallon and my nems are very happy and growing.

well I have been looking into metal halide any recs. on what I should get??
the other weird thing is the sickly anomone is up near the top of the tank and the one that has been in there even longer and looks great is at the bottom of the tank. My SG is 1.021 and I check that just about every day. Also with metal halide is there a way to calculate how much power I will need out of one of those?

Same rule of thumb, you want about 5 watts per gallon. And would need to know the size of your tank (dimensions) to advice on what size MH. And you don't need MH per say but they are great for anemones.

Also 1.021 is a little low, I run my reef at 1.025 and my FOWLR 1.024 you should be at 1.023 min.

as far as my SG is there a good method for adjusting those levels ?
If I have a 1.021 and need to bring it up to a 1.023 in a 110 gallon tank (145 gallons with the sump) how do I calculate the amount of salt to add?

You can do a water change with water that's higher, or you can top off with salt water.. those are safe, slow ways to raise it.
