OK , some of you I've chatted with but for the rest here goes. Was on the road for 3 days, came home to whitish looking tanks, said Oh ^%$% and saw my huge torch all DEAD, removed as fast as possible, it smelled like death.
Started the usual, carbon, tested water, found some nitrites as expected, am was zero so bacteria doing it's job, put in some prime to help.
All other parms normal but my DKH when from 13 to 10. Normal for my tank is 1.025sg, ph 8.35 ,80 F ,ca 400 , mg 1550.
Then noticed half my xenia that was next to torch dead and dieing, removed all sickly xenia, then noticed my purple torch on other end of tank dieing, lost it over 4 days time, the heads went mushy and melted away, not a usual LPS decay and wither, but a RTN type.
With the exception of above and one digi that death wrapped around it all else in tank OK, including 3 other frog spawns , one which was right next to the huge torch, all the few sps and acans , lobo, brains , and all fish etc ok.
