I bought a pack of 4 from Dollar General for $1. Then I attached suction cups also from Dollar General (their soap dishes).
In the small critter container, I put some crushed coral, so whenever I get loose mushrooms, leather, zoanthid, pretty much any softie frag, I can just throw them in and they'll attach to a crushed coral. Then I can super glue them to a rock. I never had luck using the toothpick method
