Looking for Interceptor

I'm really fed up with those red bugs on my SPS and I'm ready to treat them. So, I went to the place that was supposed to sell Interceptor without a prescription here that Jason Jones posted. Going through the order process, it tells me that I have to send prescription in. This totaly defeats the no-prescription deal.

Since I only have a 75-G, tank, I think 1 tablet will work. Does anyone have any extra that you can just sell one or two to me?

I just got in some tablets that you can buy 1 of off me.

However, Petsmed does "require" a prescription but they will send it to you without.

I got a call about 2 hours after my order, explained what it was for, and they sent it anyway.

It says that but you really dont have to have one. I have never had one when I ordered from them. If you need a pill, come stop by and I will give you one.
 
Keith, dunno the legal implications, but have they considered marketing this directly to the aquariua market?

It'd be nice to have it packaged directly for aquariua use and available from LFS...

I know, we're an infintismaly small market compared to the main market for this product is, but might be worth at least mentioning it to the upper-types...

Brian I did mention it when I was in Basel (HQ) last time. They actually did follow up and look into but since it is a prescription now it would be very difficult to get it converted to OTC for aquarium use. They looked into relaunching under another name but with all the testing etc that would be required the market just isn't big enough. Now I think they are looking into liscensing the formula to a fish specific company that has the knowledge and expertise to get it done but I doubt it will go anywhere. I mean they looked at the market and assumed 5% of reef tanks worldwide would need it annually (which is probably high) and the revenue was in the low 100k range. When your revenues are 40 billion you tend to blow off stuff like this!

It's actually a great product for dogs and is very successful worlswide.
