Looking for best anemone for ocellaris to host

Hi all, I've had my ocellaris (false clown) for a couple weeks and I feel bad for the poor fella, he looks super lost without something to host.

So my question is what is best to host this fish in a 29G tank? I've looked at what they normally host but it's hard to compare the anemones with my species and size tank. I was talking to a guy at the LFS and he said it might even host some softies.

Any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks!

They will host in some leather corals, euphyllia's, and a even some brain corals. However, your best bet is probably a bubble-tip anemone. They easiest and cheapest is green, but you can also get red, and then the quad-colors.
Hope this helps,

A nice bubble tip will be the easiest in my opinion for that size tank too. You will find a nice one in the LFS for about 45 bucks.

Keep in mind, no matter how much money you spend or what you buy the fish still might not host. I have a clown fish and a Bubble tip anemone both in the same tank for about 3 months and still no relationship!

Good Luck!

+1 on the not hosting. I have read and read that some false clowns go their entire lives without hosting anything. Thats not saying yours wont host anything but dont be upset when it doesnt host.
