Looking for a stroke of genius.....

In my 45G I have been picking the feather cal. to death the last few weeks but it doesn't seem to make a difference as I can't get the runners easily. I have tried lights low/off for a day or two and while that does reduce it some, it still comes back.

Short of pulling my zoo frags up to safe locations and turning the bulldozers (turbos) loose, anyone have any suggestions??

I ended up using a Rabbitfish - but the Scribbled was the only one I found that did the job. I'm not sure they are supposed to like caulerpa, but it ate the grape and feather varieties without touching corals.

man, i know your pain. You should have seen it in my onefifty. wow.

I had to pul the rock and go to town. I still have some feather, but it's being "nice". IN a 45, it would be a lot easier to do than mine. I had a rabbit but he didnt touch it.

I hate macro in the main. I got some #$%@^%$# bubble that's actually growing up in my sps that i have to pull. sucks.

I wonder if raising the mg really high works on caulerpa. Is it hair algae that it works on? said:
I've heard some used that technique on bryopsis (sp.) but not hair or standard algae. I'll give it a go though if anyone thinks it may work.

There was a bit of caulerpa nummularia left over in our qt, which the new foxface promptly gobbled like candy.
