[Hello All,

Well I am still working on getting the pieces together for my DIY project and I am still looking for 6 inches of clear 2" tubing. I did get some 2" acrylic (Special Thanks to David Derricks) but what I found out is that 2" acrylic is OD. I need something that will fit into 2" PVC fittings. I did find a place in Dallas that sells it, Core Tech - 972-243-2231, but minimum 10 foot lengths at $5.81/foot. I can't see my way clear to that since I only need 6 inches or so. I did try Allied Plastics but they do not carry it.

So now that I know exactly what I need I thought I would ask again and see if anyone had an extra piece.

My mom always said there is no harm in asking. :)

So if anyone has some 2" Schedule 40 Clear PVC I need about 6 inches.

Let me know,

Stanley T''' - SALT]

[I have a DIY CO2 reactor that I used for plants that is made out of it. You could cut the ends off and use the remaining tube. It'd be about 10" worth. It is definitely clear pvc. Frag donation in trade maybe? I work near 75 and Bush.

Where did you find NO 6500k bulbs? I need some.]

[NO 6500K bulbs are available at Home Depot in a variety of shapes and sizes. Lowes has them as well.]

[Hey Tony,

That sounds like it will work. As far as frags go I keep mainly softies. I know I have some capenella frags I could grab or I have a loose giant green mushroom. I also have a light green colt I could snip of a piece off of. I would love to give you some green frilly mushrooms but I have never been able to get one off of my live rock and have it live. I also have some cabbage coral and then the usual weed variety stuff, anethelia, green start polyps, xenia. I also have some yellow button polyps. I wish my zoos were growing faster but so far none to frag yet. I also have a couple bottles of home grown phytoplankton. I could supply you with a starter culture and the f/2 micro algae grow if you wanted to start growing your own. I will PM you my phone so we can talk about it.

Marc is right is right about the 6500K NO bulbs. They sell them in a two pack at HD for around $5 they are called Daylight Deluxe. Make sure to get the two pack it is a much better deal.

Look forward to talking to you,

Stanley T'''

BTW Marc I found someone local with the Bio Balls, Thanks anyway.]

[Stanley, I just sold all my bioballs yesterday to a member for his unique sump setup.

And I bought a 10 pack of those 6500K 48" NO bulbs at Home Depot for $28. I use them in the kitchen as I prefer the lighting. Anthony Patrick did that in his house and it looks much better than normal fluoresents.]
