Look what I just caught!

Is this reef safe? I just caught him on my daisy polyps.

no, they are cool, one of the easiest nudis to keep, never bothered a thing but hair algae, they bred a few times too

Nudis are notoriously hard to ID by picture- even the experts don't always agree.

visit http://seaslugforum.net/ and look at their database and / or submit a pic there.

Short answer? I'd isolate him until (if) you get a definitive answer.

80mm! That's over 3" long. What a cool find. Hopefully you can keep it and enjoy observing it.

It looks a lot like marionia olivacea: alt=""> I found it here: http://seaslugforum.net/factsheet.cfm?base=marioliv Not much is said about its feeding habits but you are probably safe in watching and waiting. You might post a picture on the sea slug forum and see what the experts say. said:
EXACT MATCH!!!!!! Thank you chriscurtis

He is in my fuge right now. Couldn't bring myself to do him in! I am nervous about putting him back in the display though. Something has been nipping at my daisy polyps. I think it is a fish. If he was doing it, I'd think there would have been more damage, but i'm just not sure...

Update-

I still have him. He's been in my Fuge cruising around. I have 2 medium feather dusters and a few small Zoos and 2 very tiny ricorda. So far he hasn't touched them.

On the other hand, my Daisy Polyps have been growing back. I think he was eating them. I bet this dude would also eat star polyps.

Maybe I can rent him out!!

they usually look like the food they eat. you could put just one daisy polyp in a bowl with him in it and see if he eats it.
