Hi ladies and gents,

Listen, I recently got a Kent-Hi-S 35GPD RO unit and am trying to source filters for it.

I need

1 micron Sediment
1/2 Micron Carbon Block
Color Changing DI Cartridge.

I want to start making water for my 120 so I can fill it this weekend so Marine Depot is prolly out of the question.

Is there a reasonable local source for these ?

Thanks

For the sediment and Carbon you can get them from Lowes or Home Depot in the size you are looking for.

Most DI cartridges are refillable. I would look to see if anyone has any extra for you to buy/borrow.

waterbeing had non-color changing DI refill media.

I'm finding the life to be at least 50% better than the color changing media (as checked / tracked with TDS meter) - but with the caveat the source water is reading much lower TDS than it did when I was still using color changing.

Costco.com has filters listed, and may sell them in warehouse locations. I've been using them for over a year with no complaints, but haven't been able to locate them in store lately.

Cool thanks for all the info.

the guy i got the RODI from removed the DI canister and tossed it.

I still have the Membrane (8 months old and kept moist)

And I have the exhausted Carbon Block and Sediment Filters.

I may check the local DIY shops, but will prolly go ahead and order the $48 set from MArine Depot which includes .5 micron sediment, 1 micron carbon block and a new DI canister.

Thanks

Might want to check with mr miller to see if he has placed his order.
