Lobo attacked hammer

So I have a large lobo that sits on the sand bed near a large hammer coral with about 20 heads. They have been in close proximity for several months with no issues. Well, last night the lobo completely covered 3 heads of the hammer in sweepers. They do not look good this morning. I moved the lobo to a safer distance, but I am unsure what I should do with the hammer. Do I need to remove the damaged 3 heads or will they recover?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

I'm pretty sure all you can do is leave it be and don't stress it any more. It will live or die depending on how bad it was stung but will probably bounce back if the polyps are still there.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I have the lobo moved away and I'll see if I can direct a little more flow to the hammer.

Appreciate your help!
