lights and temperature

I just moved my corals (softies and sps) to a new 215g... I will be adding a chiller this Sunday... However, due to temperature issues I can only run the lights for 3 hours before the water goes from 80 to 83... not running a heater, the return pump keeps the tank at 80, with the house set to 71 during the day and 67 at night... Is this enough light until I get the chiller hooked up?

Do you have any type of fan you can use to cool the water? Whether it be the water in the tank or sump, you should be able to cool it a bit with a fan blowing on the surface.

Running a fan on the tank, keeping the doors open on the stand... I will add a fan on the sump...Also thought about only running 2 of the 3 MH.

I would recommend another return pump, you should be able to maintain under 80* no problem with just evaporative cooling. Your coral's will be ok with 3 hrs of light until you get the chiller hooked up this Sunday....folks do 3-4 day's lights out all the time to help combat various ailment's with their tank.

Cheers,
