Lighting Scheme Sticky

It occurred to me recently while I was trying to achieve my desired look for my lighting scheme that it would be awesome if we start a lighting scheme sticky in the forums some where.

I know there are others on the web and I've visited them, but what I'm thinking of is pictures of all the different ranges of MH combos with and without supplemental turned on and all info about the lighting system stated of course.

That way whether your system only uses 1 150 watt HQI bulb with supplemental actinics or multiple 400 watt moguls people would be able to use it to get a better idea of what kelvin lighting they need to get.

I think it would be really useful to people starting new tanks as well as a time and money saver to those who can't really afford to buy bulb after bulb in order to see how it looks on their tank.

What do you guys think? I think it would be a very useful tool for everyone.
 
I think it would be easier to sticky a thread that had the links rather than the content. Examples would be Sanjay's lighting site, JBNY's halide lamp comparison, etc.

Putting individual photos up would be very difficult, as camera settings, position and lighting conditions very. JBNY's study was pretty well controlled.
 
Do you have a link to JBNY's study? I will be replacing bulbs in the next month or two and am considering my options.
