[The moon and the sun both cycle who cycles their normal (not moon lights) lighting from front to back or left to right.

and not just turn on actinics first I mean my left 250 MH goes on a 7:00 am it is on for 8hrs. My right 250 MH comes on at 11:00 am.

Anyone?

I ask because this could reduce heat on tanks and it seems with both on for 12 hours after just 8 hours polyps start to retract (too much direct lighting)???]

[I will be running 3 halides, I had been thinking of having them like that...left on at 10, middle and left at 11, all 3 at 12, then left off at 7, middle and left at 8, all out at 9.

They also make light movers, in theory you could use 1-2 halides over a tank that would require 3 or 4, and move them across the tank, that may be an interesting way to save some $$ and heat.]

[Mark, If I could go 3 MH I would do two 14k (is the bluer spectrum right?)(outside start early and late) for the bluish pre/post lighting glow effect and center a full spectrum bulb!

Day light is like 7:15 to 7:15 so it would probably work better if;

#1- at 8am - 4pm

#2- at 10am - 6pm

#3- at 12am - 8pm

Just a thought though?]
