Led troubleshooting

So I have managed to get lucky and not have any problems till my last string of 6 first 70 LEDs went smooth

Now on my last set of 14 colored LEDs the first two fire and the last two fire. I don't know much about this stuff but what I managed to figure out was when I touch with the tester, - to a screw holding the led down and + to + on the led it fires I have three doing this. Is that the issue how do I figure out the problem?
 
This sounds like you may have screwed them own too much. This is why I like used thermal paste for holding leds down
