I have a toadstool and when I got home yesterday it was not out. It stated to come out a bit and I noticed this spot on it. So this morning I got up and saw that it still was not open all the way. So I took a picture and am turning to where I know I can find out what it wrong with it. It almost looks like a burn.

Yes, that leather has some sort of injury  . I don't know the proper name for what it has but I can tell you that over the years I have had a few develope that problem. There were different causes for the injury but the coral always recovered. :) If yor water quality is good and you provide plenty of flow to the damaged area, it should repair itself. If you can't seem to keep the area clean with the flow in your tank try fanning it with your hand. This will cause strong water movement over the affected area and blow away any dead tissue  . In severe cases, where the damage kept growing, I had sucess with applying iodine directly to the area. You have to take the coral out of the water of course for that.

Keep us posted.

I did blow it with a turkey baster and it did pop something like a scab off from the area. It has a hole that goes through the skin. It is also a green toadstool and when I did that some of the green flesh came off. Is this normal? Thanks for all the help so far.

It's not "normal" but it's not that uncommon, either. If it continues to grow, you might want to consider fragging it into multiple pieces.
