Leather coral - One head not extended

[I have a lovely green leather toadstool from Tranquil Scape that is about two weeks old. It has two heads one of which is completly extended. The other head originally had all its polyps extended but now looks sort of closed up (only a few polyps extended). It has not bleached, still very pretty neon green. I read in a coral bool that toadstools can sometimes go through a "waxy molting" stage where they look closed up but then come back stronger than ever. Has anyone else experienced this and how long does it last? The tank has 2 250W MH and 2 160 W blue actinics (the toadstool is not directly under the MH). Good water flow. Water parameters: Amm 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 0, Cal 400-435, SG 1.024, Temp 78-80, pH 8.2-8.4, Alk 3.0]

[if the other one is doing fine, I wouldn't worry. Leathers can be very finnicky. I wouldn't be suprised if it started getting a mucus coating for a day or two and then come back looking better than ever.]
