Lawnmower Blenny

This guy has been enjoying himself too much lately. I've been finding him buried inside the Toadstool Leather. I tried to get a nice shot of him, but of all the pictures this was the only good one. Too bad I had to use the flash.

I haven't seen mine on my toadstoll yet ... but when the actinics go out she goes straight to my barnicle and sleeps there the whole night.

I found my lawnmower camping out between some orange rics. Unfortunately, it moved before I could get back with me camera.

It was terribly cute. I wish I could share the visual

those guys are so funny - a ton of personality. not sure about all of them but ours can certainly change his colors, somehting I didn't expect when I got him, almost like an octopus. He'll shift to a white with light grey when he's on the sand bed, and when he's up on hte rocks he darkens up to where it's very hard to pick him out.

When I decided to get rid of mine (this was a long time ago) I put a big jar in the tank. He swam right in and sat there and waited. Made me feel kind of guilty. I got rid of him because he wasn't eating the algae, only the fish food I was putting in the tank! I did enjoy him and the kids called him a sea monster. I told them he came in on the rock and they believed me!
