Lavender mushroom on the move

[I have a lavender mushroom in my tank that is no longer attached to any rock. It settled into the corner of my tank.

Is there a safe way to get it back onto one of the rocks and get it to stay put?]

[You can put it where you like it, affixing it with a rubberband gently. Or you can wrap that rock with some bridal veil / netting for 5 days. Or you can pin it in place with a toothpick like Amanda did recently.]

It's a mushroom, not a vampire. :D

I assume that if I put it in place w/ a toothpick to tag it somewhere off center to avoid doing much damage to it?]

[I'm sure the Mother Vampire will repost her picture soon enough. :p]

[LOL! You should stick it through the mouth, not part of the body. You also need to stick a wad of epoxy to the top of the plastic toothpick to keep the shroom from coming off. I prefer this method over the others and it should attach fairly quick.

[I use a shot glass with a with a piece of LR. And it usually takes a couple of days before the frag attaches. (This is for small frags)]

[Thanks for the help. Looks like it's for the most part attached. I'm avoiding that area of the tank with my cleaning magnet for a few more days so that it is attached strongly, but it's not drifting anymore.
