Well I found a new struggle in my tank. Mainly the aiptasia have gone unchecked for a while only because in my 180 I can't reach my arm in to use aiptasia-X with the included syringe . Any suggestions?

peppermint shrimp will work on aiptasia but not sure about the majano's. Also would get them from different stores unless you see them go after it in the store. Most of the LFS will have aiptasia somewhere in the store so ask them to put some in the tnak and take the ones that go after it. [smilie=devil.gif]

I think Marc tested out an electric zapper that might work.

I had to dry out all my rock for a month and then start again to get rid of them. It was a bad infestation.

I' ve had the filefish before and it did a great job on a majano infestation I had on my old tank, but I think I also lost some zoas to him. I've heard from other members that chalices, acans, and zoas can also become part of their diet, so there's definitely a risk if you keep those types of corals in your tank. For my current tank, I bought the zap stick discussed here:

It's currently loaned out to another member, but if you want to try it out, you can borrow it after I get it back.

Simontan,

I would love to try that out. How much and where did you get it at?............................just noticed the other thread. Did you get the ebay one?

Thanks,

Anthony

I got one directly from Paul last November right before he got it patented and mass produced. If I recall correctly it was about $75 shipped. I don't think there's any difference with the ones currently being sold, as he told me back then he had pretty much tweaked the design as much as he cared to at that point. I'll check with the guy I loaned it out to and see if he's done with it then I'll let you and Aaron try it out. As I mentioned in the other thread, it's great if you can really get to the target, but if you leave even just a little behind, it will come back, but that was really also the case with Joe's Juice. I'll PM once I have it back.

I had a lot of luck with a Kleins Butterfly. Took a few weeks but he wiped them out. I don't know what Corlals you have. I know mine nipped Green Eye zoo's, but almost completely ignored TX Trash Palys. He did not seem to bother my Green Monti Plate coral.

thanks man!!!
