Kenya Tree and Leather???

I just got a few frags of kenya tree from a friend. They are opening up, but not standing up like when i took them out of his tank. He only had t5 lights and i have metal halides. Could this be why they are not acting right?? I also got a 4 in leather stalk from him that was floating around on the bottom of his tank not doing well at all. I put it in my tank and it stood right up and opened up. It has a bright green tint to it under my halides. It has some small polyps coming out a little, but nothing like i have seen in some pictures. Any help with that one will be appreciated as well. Thanks everyone.
 
Kenya trees are very hard to kill. Just give them some time they'll be alright. As for the leather coral, it seems like it's doing fine. It's opening and having some small polyps which is good. Most leathers don't open up in a new tank for a couple of days. All leathers are different so you might just be looking at a different type of leather.
