Kent Marine SI RO/DI

I recently bought a Kent Marine SI RO/DI that needs all new filters. I looked at a pakage of filters for it and they run around $85. I noticed other ro/di filters were alot cheaper. Can i interchange filters??? And if i can which ones would you recommend?

Kent uses industry standard 10" filters. You can find them at your local fish store as well as online.

Do those include the ro membrane or do you have to order those seperate??

You only replace the membrane when it is worn out.

1) Nothing comes out, it slows to a drip and waste water runs down the drain.
2) TDS rises two 60 or 80 coming out of the membrane.

If you don't have either of those issues, the membrane is still good. They can last 1-5 years, depending upon a number of factors. I had one last 6 years once.
