[How long do you let the powder mix before starting your drip? When I make up my mix I let it sit for awhile, letting the gunk go to the bottom of the jug. Im just wondering if Im not mixing it enough. It seems as though there sure is a lot of sediment on the bottom the jug. Am I missing something]
 
[I let it settle for a few hours, then connect it to my system. Some wait overnight.]
 
[There will always be some stuff that settles out at the bottom. If there is a ton of it then you may be mixing in too much. There is a saturation point that is reached and then anything over and that will just not mix in. I do not actually use Kalkwasser but Ball's pickling lime from the grocery store, same stuff but much cheaper. Mine actually sits from over night to several days. I mix 2 teaspoons per gallon in a five gallon bucket and then let it sit over night. Then I use as part of the water in my auto top off system. I have a 3 gallon container and I put about a gallon of lime water and the rest RO water. This will keep my tank topped of for about 2 days.

[Salt you have pretty much described exactly my procedure. I didnt think I was doing anything wrong just wanted to see how poeple were mixing their kalk.
