Just Ordered this Light

Hey Reefers, Ive been doing some researching on a light for my new 8 gal nano tank. Ive looked at this light time and time again and actually watched a video of one similar to it. I ordered the light just a few minutes ago and am now waiting for delivery which will hopefully be before the end of this week. Let me know what you guys think of this light. Ill post below the link to the light i bought and also the link to the video i watched that is similar to the one i ordered. thanks for any advice in advance.

Thats basically what i'm going for. my wife said she wants everything in the tank to be flowy so i said ok hunny as long as i get to order what i want lol.
 
I used one for a few months. The light is good but the spread was weak. But in yours it should be perfect. When you want to upgrade let me know.
 
It worked fine. I'll have my fixture up for sale in a week or two since I'm about to build a new one.
 
Ok cool just let's know what u have. Surely mine will be in by then and if I don't like mine then I'll deff check your out. What fixture is it so I can go ahead and check it out. Thanks
 
Yes I've had it on my tank now for a little over 2 weeks. Gives off really nice shimmer, the dimming capability is pretty nice even though you can only dim in 10% increments. Outside of the light has a nice appearance. Can't really give an update on growth of corals since this is a new build. The only coral I have in there at the moment is some purple Xenia and so far it's looking great. Hope this update helps
 
I'm wondering if this light would make a good candidate for growing frags in the sump since it has decent intensity with minimal spread. Tagging along
 
I think it would work very well for a sump grow light. The spread is actually more impressive than i thought it would be. Ive got it about 4" above this 8 gall tank and it covers the whole thing very well.
