Just introduceing myself and future set up.

Just wanted to introduce myself and trust me I will have questions later. Names Kyle and I have been doing fresh/Africans for about 5 years and had a killer set up, but recently I have decided to make the change into Salt. My set up will be a 160g seamless non drilled with 2 separate sumps built custom for the bottom of my stand. I will also more than likely build my overflow box etc. Plan on going with a large Protein Skimmer and have a great PC light. Also I plan to use Pavestone Pulverized Limestone if I can find it because I do not want to pay 1/1lbs (if anyone has any great ideas for sand let me know) Also I plan to go with a 4inch sand bad so I can house Jaw fish and others. I am going to use Lace rock as my base and seed with diff kinds of live rock etc. I will also have 4 k4s to start off with and some of the other items and equipment that im sure I will need. That is the quick snap shot of my plan etc and Im sure there is a ton more I can do, but that’s one of the many reasons im here to learn/help and get feedback.
Look forward to meeting some of you in the future.

You might want to think about something more powerful then pc lights unless it's going to be a fish only tank. I would say metal halide but I'm partial to them t-5s would be good also. look at reef octopus skimmers cheap price good skimmer

Welcome! You'll love it here! You should take a few hours of your free time and mosey on over to our tank build threads section. There are a lot of large tanks like yours that are already established with build logs and tons of pictures. They might give you some ideas.

+1 here. The lighting and skimmer are two of your most important pieces of equipment. I would look at a 5' T5 fixtures for lighting. It may not hurt to show us your proposed equipment list.
