After looking at led retrofit kits for the JBJ Nano 12 tanks, I decided to go my own direction for a fraction of the cost. Instead of a special heat sink, I used a rectangle aluminum tube and secured it to existing reflector with thermal adhesive. The original fans are still in place but powered by the 24v supplied for the lights. All run through a cheap ebay DC dimmer. The power supply is 24v 2a DC power supply from eBay.
