I've lost my Zoo's

I did a freshwater dip for about 5 minutes and something went wrong. Now the zoo's that I dipped look very bad. I tried to think of anything that went wrong. The only thing I can think of is the water temp. I didn't check it before I put it in :oops:
 
By now they are back in the tank, right? Let them be and see how they fare.
 
Did you check the PH of the freshwater? I've never done freshwater dips myself, but temp and PH are the two things I've always heard that you wanna get matching...

Yes, the ph matched but I didn't think about the temp. I'm sure thats what happened.

I'm just glad I didn't put my prized zoo frags from tranquil in the dip.
 
I always stick my other heater in the bucket to get the temps close to my tank before doing. I also even add a drop or 2 of iodine now every now and then. Never had any problems. Only ones I lost were the ones that the Zoa eating Nudibranks killed off. They would have killed all of them if I did not catch it and dip them.:)

I dipped again tonight for the second time in a week. I only found one of them this time. 100 or more last time. I plan to dip once every week for two to three weeks to make sure there gone.

And yes, I dipped the ones I got last week from Tranquil as well. I want to make sure they did not make it down to them.
