Is this going to kill my coral?

This looks like a white brittle star inside this coral. Is it going to kill it? Do I need to get it out? And how would I get it out? Can someone help me with this? There appears to be several of the white "things" inside this coral in different areas. I just noticed them today. Not sure how long they might have been there. Could be some kind of worm I guess. Anyone with any ideas?
 
well my good digital camera is missing in action so using the old one. tried my best to get a good picture. anyone that might live close to the saginaw area that wants to see it or has a good camera is more than welcome to come over and look at this thing to see if can help with it or just see it better.

Could be but don't think so Marc. They are inside my meat coral. I am concerned that they are going to kill it. I am so sorry that my pics are so poor. The first one I saw in it looked like those little white brittle stars.
 
I took the coral out of the water to look at the backside of it and when I turned it upside down all of these white stringy things come out. I am getting scared
 
I would leave it alone. Let the coral rest up and watch it closely.
