Is Copperband Butterfly and Flame Angel fish reef safe?

Thinking of buying new fish, but not sure if they will be compatible. Does anyone have any of these fishes in their reef tank and how are their behaviors?

Those are considered two of the more "reef safe" fish as far as angels and butterflys go. In my opinion there is no such thing as a 100% reef safe angel or butterfly, but both of those will ignore most corals, but there's always a chance you get one that wants to nip at one coral or another. If you were choosing between the two, I would go with the flame angel first because they tend to be a lot hardier and adapt better to frozen foods.
Hope this helps.

I have a couple of Copperbands and have no problems with them, they clean up the aiptasia and both eat mysis as well. No coral picking that I have seen. I also have a coral beauty that I have had no problems with. You should be good with either one, assuming you get a CB that will eat and is healthy. If they survive a couple of weeks, your chances are good it will stick around much longer.

I have both of them in the same 220 gallon tank. I have never had a problem with either of the fish. I think it depends on the individual fish and what type of corals you may have. I know my copperband will eat any feather dusters. I also tried putting a small Pipe Organ coral(Tubipora musica) in there once. Bad mistake, he pulled the entire coral apart, I guess he thought it looked too much like feather dusters.
