well i have two in my 55 gallon but it's like a fan so i used one right behind the other to get coverage in between the dead spots and get a sprread from the front of my tank all the way to the top of my rocks. i just bought a 100 gallon so i am thinking about getting two more. i say four would be good for the 130 gallon.
