I just wanted to share about this fixture which appears to date back to the Korean war. It used to hang over my dad's desk when I was a kid. It was retrieved from the ashes of my parent's house. Recently I cleaned it up and installed an electronic ballast and 2- T8 6700k bulbs.
It is a nice reminder to me of my dad now that he has passed away.

The thing I like the most about this is that it has a large porcelain reflector. Pictures are of when I had my 75g as freshwater.

To me this is going to sound odd but I have a couple of SPS frags I had to move and I put them in this tank. They actually look like they are doing better than the 4 x 24w T5's. I am guessing these may be a more hardy type of SPS.
