I've been out of town for the past week, and noticed that my Bangaii isn't looking so good. Before we left, he looked like he had a minor eye injury. Upon my return, he looks really beat up. His long beautiful fin is now short. The eye is still cloudy. He's kind of just hanging in a corner near the bottom. And the side that had the injured eye looks like it now has some torn flesh - even some popping out of the side. No other fish have any marks on them at all. The "flesh popping out" doesn't appear to be moving or have any distinguishing features. But he's definitely not doing well and can't see out of that eye well because he's run into a couple of things.

Not sure what could have happened or who could have beat him up - he doesn't compete with anyone for food and just usually hangs out by himself.
Any ideas/suggestions? I hesitate to pull him out as that may cause more harm than good. But if I need to make a hospital tank for him, then I will.
