I'll pay someone to build canopy - How much $?

[Tank is 48" long x 18" deep x 21" high........ 75gallons acrylic

how much will you charge to build one for me- it doesn't need to be all fancy - as long as it doesn’t have any heat issues - i'm not that good at building stuff - tried it once and it fell apart when i moved it.

It will be running dual metal halide and in the future maybe some VHO.

[If I lived closer, I would do it for you (SW Fort Worth), but the main thing that is going to affect how much you pay is going to be the material used. That can vary substantially. If I had to guess a price range, you could expect to spend between $90 - $150. Depending on trim, paint, and amount of detail.]

well I’m just asking - how much will it be for a farley simple canopy - something to match my black acrylic stand - the front will need to open and 4 fan holes. - And if something comes up were I can’t build it - I’ll contact you.

Looking at that stand, a novel idea might be to use an ultra high-gloss black formica covering once you've assembled it.
if you have complex shapes, plan on HOURS of sanding and painting for a black laquer finish. Turtle wax works really well once it's finished]
