Ideas for Ppimping out my Euro Reef CS-8

I got a Euro-Reef CS8-3 with my 92G Corner and have not been happy with its performance. I am looking for ideas on increasing its efficiency before I consider replacing it. I believe the thing was un-modified and original and is at least 4 years old.

There's tons of stuff you can do if it's still stock.

1) Gate valve on outflow
2) Mesh wheel vs. pin wheel
3) Make it a recirc model.

Check Reef Central...there's tons of stuff how to modify skimmers.
