So reading up on them... peppermint shrimp will take them out? Are p. shrimp difficult to keep? For some reason my last two cleaner shrimp have died within days of being in the tank.
Pepermint shrimp usually will... in my very first tank they wiped out all of the aptasia in about a week or two.... in my 210 galon however the pepermint shrimp where lazzy and on welfare and just seemed to eat the left over food from feeding i broke down and got a raccon butterfly and it wipped out all aptasia and majanos in about a week...... problem with those is that they can pick on some of your soft corals, i had to remove my welso's and my fungia.......
I agree with the posts above, IME if your feeding heavily, peppermint shrimp will get lazy and freeload off the extra food. But that being said, a lot of people have had success with peppermint shrimp eating aiptasia
I bought as many as 13 peppermint shrimp for my 240 gallon when aiptasia broke out - they didn't eat a bit. Joe's juice worked great on mine and cleared up the mojano anemones as well
I bought two and they slowly worked after hours.. but then i bought a package of stuff from someone and a half used bottle of joe's juice was there and cleared everything right up
