ID please...

I just found this in my tank and I've never seen anything like it before. Kinda looks like a small caterpillar. It was under some small zoo rocks I've got.

its kind of hard to see. Needs better focus. Does it look like a mini shrimp sort of like an insect? Could be an amphipod...

No it's not an amphipod. I was thinking it might be some kind of nudibranch but I can't find a pic of anything like it online. For the life of my I can't get a better pic, my camera just isn't very good. It's a little over a 1/4 inch long and is white in color. It has many many legs. It is flipped over on it's back and it has a hard time turning over.

i thought so too until i tried to get a pic of one for ya, and this is the best i could find but they only look similar..

Really hard to tell from that pic (I know, we're sounding like a broken record now) but Isopod maybe?

No, it's not a copepod or an isopod. My camera is really irritating me because I CANNOT get a focused pic of it. It sorta has the head of an amphipod but it's body is completely straight and isn't see through at all. It is white. All of it's legs are the same length. It was crawling on my starboard just like a centipede, fairly fast. It definatly isn't a type of snail as it moves to quick.

**edit - I do believe it is a type of isopod. Here's a pic of one I found online that looks just like what I found. However the one I've found is completely white, not a all "ghost" looking, or clear.
