Does anyone know what the thin, white, stringy things on this coral is? When I bought it they were not there but when I dipped it they appeared. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Phillip I dont know what it is either I googled and read I just dont want it to be a bad thing like a pest one of those that you dont want in your tank.

That's it for me thanks Matt! I've noticed that when one acro does it.. all of the acros end up doing it. I thought it was a chemical signal.
 
No worries, completely safe. The coral was reacting to the dip.
 
Thanks Matt googled it read some & looked at some pics thats what it looked like im guessing it got in an uproar when I dipped it. Thanks for helping me out!
