I have looked at other linkias and this doesnt reakky have the rounded body like the ones I have seen...maybe petco mislabeled>?

Looks like a fromia to me. Sometimes called a tile star. Easier to keep alive IMHO, not quite as sensitive to water quality issues, just have to make sure they stay fed as most aquariums actually don't have sufficient detritus to keep them alive for more than 6 mos-1 yr.
