Some says ich is always in the tank and some says it is not.
My question is: If my tank is free of ich for over a year, then there should be no ich is my tank because if ich can't find a host it will die off, right? I bought a tang from someone who's has the tang for more than six months wihtout any issue and his tank is ich free as well. Well, 3 days into my tank the tang gets ich. Where is it come from? within the fish itself?
I know a lot of LSF use low level of cooper in their tank and some purposly keep low salinity rid ich. Why do we then need QT if the ich are "killed" at the LFS already?
