Marc, Is she in tank with a Vortec? Not wishing you any bad luck, but our Vortec got our mandarin. Woke up one morning, and it appeared she was staring at me perched on top of Vortec. When I got closer, I realized there was a problem. The Vortec had sucked in her stomach area, not to where it was cut, but simply stretched her stomach into the Vortec housing. That makes 2 linkias, one peppermint, and one manderin that fell victim to the Vortec.

Yes, she's in the tank with two VorTechs and Tunze Stream 6100. She's been in there for a long time - I think a year?

I thought I had lost mine until I saw her come out last night as fat as ever. The mandarin is probably tied for my favorite fish with my red-spotted sailfin blenny.
