I have a 36x20x12 glass tank used as a sump and I need it to be 36x16x12. The glass is 1/2 inch and there is border around the bottom edge. If anyone knows where I can get this done at, please let me know. Thanks

OR you could sell it to me, as those are the dimensions I need... if it is 12" high....and buy one that you like that fits! I have a 20g, 24x13x16high if you would like to trade.

I really dont want to sell it unless I can find a tank similar to it in style because I want to have matching sump and refuge tanks.

The only way I can think of is to take it apart, cut it to size, and then reassemble. If you do it yourself, you will invest a lot of time and effort but you might save some cash.

looks like your going to need to call glasscages.com and have them build you a new tank. I dont think cutting a tank in half is going to be a very good thing to do. More seams = weaker tank

If anyone would know it would be "dvups1" David he has built a few tanks for dfwmas members

How much would I be looking at to get the 3 pieces of glass cut and the edges cleaned up?

it would be cheaper to just order a new one from Glass Cages, and it will be new. (and you can have it drilled however you want before they send it.)

I guess im buying a new sump tank. Is anyone interested in this tank?
