I know you guys enjoy guessing, ID this please

first one looks like an asterina (star-fish type thing), some are bad and some are good. I dont how to tell the diff.

The second is GSP, very hardy and should grow fairly quickly once your tank params become stable with enough light.

You dont have to feed either and both can become nuisances of sorts. Keep an eye on the GSP, once they start growing they take off and can over take an entire rock very quickly.

The asterina's reproduce by splittling I believe and some have been known to munch on corals.

Good Luck and nice pics for a camera phone! Wish mine would take nice pics.

yup, you'll need to isolate it, or if thats not possible you can let it grow a bit more and then cut a frag of it off to place elsewhere and then go about eradicating it.

Personally I am going to leave it on mine, for now, because I like the way it sways with the flow and its fun watching my fish swim in and around it.

Of course, after I get my eye and tank ready for some corals the rock will be sold or traded for a fresh LR without GSP.
