I.D. Please

Hey Guys,

I bought what I think is a Pulsating Xenia today and I just want to double check and see if you guys think that is what it is as well.

Here is a pic of it:

Also, when I placed it in my tank a piece fell off of the rock. I don't really know how, but it did, so I took some super glue gel and put some on the base of the piece that fell off and glued it to another rock. It will be my first "frag" attempt I guess you could say so we will see how that goes.

Here is a pic of that:

It was just glued, so it didn't look to happy, but the last time I checked it had perked up a lot more, so it looks like it is doing well so far.

Looks like Xenia to me. That stuff spread like crazy in my other tank. I didn't have to glue any of it. If a snail went by slow enough, it would attach a piece to its shell!

make sure it is on a rock by itself as it spreads fast. Does not seem to harm other corals as they do not sting but will cover your rock/glass pretty quickly.

I actually would love for it to spread! I love the way this stuff looks. I will just frag it off if it starts to spread.

I remember when I used to think the same thing, [smilie=lol.gif] It is very beautiful but it can become a problem quickly.
